Using a novel, patent pending plant
stem cell culture technology (PhytoCellTec™), Mibelle
Biochemistry developed an active based on apple stem
cells. These apple stem cells are rich in epigenetic
factors (mechanisms outside the gene) and metabolites
which assure the longevity and vitality of skin cells.
PhytoCellTec™ Malus Domestica has been shown to protect
and repair skin stem cells and delay the senescence. The
application of plant stem cell cultures to maintain and
repair the function of skin stem cells is a breakthrough
in anti-aging.

Production of the Cosmetic Active:
PhytoCellTec™
in StemCellin®
Amatokin
The
production begins by a
Amatokin
complete dedifferentiation of the
apple stem cells into a homogeneous culture that takes 4
to 12 months. The stem cells are then transformed into a
liquid suspension that takes 1-6 months at which time
there is a need to find optimal conditions to cultivate
the stem cells. Amatokin
The
power of this rare
Amatokin
isolated Uttwiler Spätlauber apple tree found in the
Zimmerberg region at the lake of Zürich is the storage
ability of the apples and its undiscovered metabolites
(helps in reproduction and growth). In other words, the
harvested stem cells from these apples have a very long
life and help in the reproduction and growth of new stem
cells when its concentrate - PhytoCellTec - is applied
to the skin. A special plant stem cell culture
technology makes it possible to cultivate cells of this
endangered and rare species of apples. The technology is
Amatokin
based on dedifferentiated (the capacity to differentiate
into other cell types) plant cells and the complete
dedifferentiation of the cells is made into a homogenous
culture that transforms the apple stem cells into a
liquid suspension.
The suspension
Amatokin
stem cell cultures from the apples are
grown in bioreactors with oxygen and without light
(chlorophyll free). A batch is harvested after all the
sugar is used and the cells are homogenized to release
the second metabolites. The stem cells are then
stabilized by liposomal (membrane-enclosed
sac)
structures and the suspension is fixed in a xanthan gum
(fermented sugar) gel. The finished apple stem cell
product is then ready to be incorporated into our
StemCellin products.
